1. How to use the KAEFER Recruiting Portal

We thank you for your interest in our company and for your application. There are the following possibilities to use our Recruiting Portal:

You can apply via our job portal on a job vacancy of KAEFER Isoliertechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Marktstraße 2 in 28195 Bremen or any other German KAEFER company according to section 2. h of this privacy policy – in the following referred to as KAEFER. By doing so, you provide us with your profile for a specifically advertised position or internship. These data are only used to check whether your application matches this specific position. If you wish to be considered for further job vacancies, please release your profile.

KAEFER reserves the right to place your application at the disposal of shareholding companies provided that the position you have applied for is no longer available.

Registration for an unsolicited registration: You provide us with your profile without applying for a specific position. By releasing your profile, you allow KAEFER to check whether your profile matches different positions.

If your profile matches a job vacany of KAEFER, we will contact you by means of the contact data you gave us. Your information are treated strictly confidentially. Your can change your contact data at any time during the application as well as during the registration process. Please also read section 2, point g) of theses data protection notes.

If for the time being we are not able to offer you an adequate position, you can be registered for our talent pool. In this case you will be informed separately. You can always give your approval if you wish to be considered for our talent pool, but at a later time also withdraw your approval.

2. Data Protection Provisions

a) Introduction

The protection of your personal data is absolutely important to KAEFER. All personal data you enter in our portal are always treated strictly confidentially and in according with the data protection provisions, especially with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act. This declaration regarding the protection of privacy and personal sphere is exclusively valid for KAEFER.

If you apply with your profile or register and enter information in the recruiting portal, you agree according to article 6 section 1a of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) that we process and use your data within the scope of the principles laid down herin. This also applies  if personal data are made accessible to future domestic companies or shareholding companies.

b) Data Protection

Your personal data are processed according to the General Data Protection Regulation in its latest version.

c) Data Collection

The personal data of your application or unsolicited application are not stored in the KAEFER Recruting Portal without your approval, but you can provide us with this information voluntariliy for particular puposes in the designated areas of the KAEFER Recruiting Portal (e. g. your name, your current profession, your e-mail address, your telephone number during registration). On the KAEFER Recruiting Portal we will not ask you to provide us with so called special personal data in terms of article 9 GDPR. If you provide us with such information voluntarily, you allow us to save these information during registration and to use them for purposes of this Recruiting Portal.

d) Cookies

The KAEFER Recruiting Portal uses so called session cookies which store data for technical session control in your browser’s memory. These are not used to collect user data and will be deleted when the browser is closed at the latest. Furthermore, we point out that the browser generally has functions for the administration of cookies.

With every access the IP address, the browser type and the page visited are saved. Apart from that, we refer to the general KAEFER Data Protection Declaration:

e) Data Collection, Processing and Use of your Data

Personal data are only collected, processed and used for the purpose of handling appllications. For the use of the KAEFER Recruiting Portal contact data such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address etc. are collected. These data generally are used to get in contact with you regarding your application.

f) Data Processing, Updating und Deletion of Data

You can change your contact data in the KAEFER Recruiting Portal at any time. Please note that changing your profile may affect your complete application. After completion of the application procedure your data will be deleted according to the legal regulations (e.g. GDPR or BDSG) or are made anonymous for statistical reasons, so that no conclusions can be drawn about you.

g) Responsible Authorities for Data Collection

The KAEFER Recruting Portal is principally used by KAEFER Isoliertechnik GmbH Co. KG, Marktstraße 2, 28195 Bremen. Therefore, your personal data are transferred to this location. In order to handle your application process in a proper way, KAEFER Isoliertechnik GmbH & Co. KG transfers your personal data above all to the responsible persons of the KAEFER group.

h) Your rights

You have the fol­low­ing rights:

  • To request information about your personal data processed by KAEFER pursuant to Article 15 DSGVO. In particular, you may request information about the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right of rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of appeal, the origin of your data, if these have not been collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on their specifications.
  • To immediately request the amendment of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by KAEFER pursuant to Article 16 DSGVO.
  • To request the deletion of your personal data stored by KAEFER pursuant to Article 17 DSGVO, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • To request, pursuant to Article 18 DSGVO, the restriction of the processing of your personal data, if you dispute the accuracy of the data, if the processing is unlawful but you refuse to delete the data and KAEFER no longer needs the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have filed an objection to the processing pursuant to Article 21 DSGVO.
  • To request, pursuant to Article 20 DSGVO, that the personal data you have provided to KAEFER is received in a structured, current and machine-readable format or to transfer the data to another responsible person;
  • In accordance with Article 7 para. 3 DSGVO, you may revoke your consent to KAEFER at any time. Consequently, KAEFER is no longer allowed to continue processing data based on this consent in the future.
  • In accordance with Article 77 DSGVO you can complain to a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or workplace or at KAEFER's headquarters.
  • Right of recourse: If your per­sonal data is pro­cessed based on le­git­im­ate in­terests pur­su­ant to Art. 6 para. 1 sen­tence 1 lit. f DSGVO, you have the right to ob­ject to the pro­cessing of your per­sonal data in ac­cord­ance with Art. 21 DSGVO, if there are reas­ons for this which arise from your par­tic­u­lar situ­ation or if the ob­jec­tion is dir­ec­ted against dir­ect ad­vert­ising. In case of the lat­ter, you have a gen­eral right of re­course, which KAEFER will im­ple­ment without spe­cify­ing a par­tic­u­lar situ­ation.
